A picturesque cottage located on the banks of the River Parret in Somerset. The Cottage has two bedrooms and 1 reception room. With a 100ft backgarden leading to the local pub at the end of the garden. Local walking and fishing is excellent with river fishing and course fishing within 5 min walk. Combwich boasts two lovely Pubs with great pub grub. Bridgewater and Taunton are easily accessable within 15 and 30 minutes, as are Burnham-on-Sea, Brean Sands and Minehead. Things to see and do locally: Bridgewater is home to the Admiral Blake Museum, the Sedgemore Splash Indoor Leisure Pool with flumes, Hinkley Point Visitors Centre, Somerset Brick and Tile Museum, Rascals Indoor Play Zone, Karting World and the Brigewater Mega Bowl.Burnham-on-Sea has a wealth of entertainment from indoor soft play areas to miles of beach. The Sea Urchins Adventure Play Area, and Burnhams indoor swimming pool are both places that could be visited on wet and rainy days.Minehead is well known as a holiday destination. Particularly for its coastline and the Butlins Holiday Centre, where day visitors are welcome. There is a steam train run by West Somerset Railways from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead.Taunton is great for shopping therapy. It has a wealth of wonderful shops from Monsoon to M & S. It also has an indoor play zone called Fun 4 Kids. The Shakespeare Glassworks has a showroom and glass blowing demonstrations throughout the year. |
