    SECTION A - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
  • A.1 Type of class rules
  • A.1.1 These rules forbidding class rules.

  • A.5.1 NA functions in accordance with these class rules may be delegated to the NKF.
  • A.5.2 In Sweden SSF has delegated all functions to Swedish IF båtförbundet except approval of these class rules and approval of amendments to the same.
  • A.5.3 In a country other than Sweden may NKF in its NA demanding that these class rules, along with any of NKF proposed addition, one should be the class rules in the country.
  • A.5.4 In a country where NA is missing, NA functions performed by Swedish IF båtförbundet, who may delegate these to the NKF.
  • A.6 ISAF rules
  • A.6.1 These class rules shall be read in conjunction with the RSR, and RRS. Rules & Regulations of the RSR and KSR apply unless otherwise provided in these class rules.
  • A.6.2 Measurements should be taken in accordance with the RSR as otherwise provided in these class rules.
  • A.6.3 When the term is used in its defined meaning it's written in the "F" style if it is defined in the RSR
  • A.6.4 When a term is written in "cursive" style if it is defined in the RRS.
  • A.7 Sailing Instructions

  • A.8 Changes in the class rules
  • A.8.1 Amendments to these class rules shall be proposed by the Swedish IF båtförbundet.
  • A.8.2 After consultation IFRA can Swedish IF båtförbundet seek the approval of the SSF.
  • A.8.3 After the SSF has approved an amendment, the NKF in another country seek the approval of its NA.
  • A.9 Interpretations of class rules
  • A.9.1 GENERAL (a) Interpretations of class rules shall be made by NKF, as soon as possible to inform the NA and IFRA on the interpretation. (B) an interpretation can only be requested by a member of the NKF or a protest committee. (C) interpretation requested by a member of the NKF can be appealed to the NA. (D) An interpretation is valid only in the country interpretation is made, until IFRA has approved the interpretation. (E) whether there would be any conflict between the class rules text in Part I and II and the appendices in Part III - Appendix, shall prevail.
  • A.9.2 AT A REGATTA (a) If the NKF of practical and time constraints can not perform interpretation of class rules, this may be done by a protest committee. (B) This interpretation applies only during the regatta. (C) NA and NKF should be informed of the interpretation as soon as practicable after the regatta. (D) the NKF will inform IFRA on the interpretation.
  • A.10 National class fee and sheeting
  • A.10.1 When manufacturing the hull builder pay the national class fee to the Swedish IFbåtförbundet.
  • A.10.2 Swedish IF båtförbundet shall, after obtaining the national class fee, send the union building sheet and a mätformulär to the licensed hull builder.
  • A.11 Sail numbers
  • A.11.1 Sail numbers shall be issued by the certification authority.
  • A.12 First Tonnage Certificate
  • A.12.1 For a boat that has not previously been certified, any item which requires measurement of mätformulär, measured by a measurer, and all measurements shall be entered in measurement form.
  • A.12.2 measurement form shall be sent, together with any certification fee for the certification authority, within 6 months after completion of measurement.
  • A.12.3 Upon receipt of a properly completed mätformulär and certification fee within the specified time frame, the certification authority may issue a tonnage certificate. Mätformulärets original shall be kept by the certification authority.
  • A.13 Mätbrevets validity
  • A.13.1 A rating certificate becomes invalid if: (a) the expiry date has passed (b) the vessel has changed ownership (c) the boat has been modified or repaired to an extent that requires measurement of mätformulär (d) correction weights have changed or shifted (e) in any other reason decided by the certification authority Nordic IFRA Class Rules 2012 for IF-boat 6 (25)
  • A.14 If certification
  • A.14.1 When mätbrevets validity date has passed, the owner may apply to the certification authority of a new measurement certificate while returning the old, invalid measurement form along with any fee. The application must be made no later than 6 months after the expiration date has passed. A new measurement certificate can then be issued to the owner.
  • A.14.2 The change of ownership, the new owner must apply to the certification authority of a new measurement certificate while returning the old, invalid measurement form along with any fee. The application shall be within 6 months of ownership. A new measurement certificate can then be issued to the new owner.
  • A.14.3 If an object that requires measurement by measurement form has changed, the current object-measured by a measurer and the result is inserted in a new mätformulär. The new form and the old invalid measurement form along with any fee should be sent to the certification authority within 6 months after completion of measurement. A new measurement certificate can then be issued to the new owner.
  • A.14.4 If the correction weight to the weight or position change, a measurer will check and if necessary to weigh the boat and the result is inserted in a new mätformulär.   • A.14.5 If the boat for 6 months has not held a valid measurement certificate, and the owner applies for a new one, the certification authority may require a recertification inspection.
  • A.15 Nullity of tonnage
  • A.15.1 If the certification authority is satisfied that there is reasonable cause to invalidate the measurement certificate has the right to do so. One such reason could be that the owner repeatedly knowingly breached these class rules when racing.
    SECTION B - APPROVAL OF BOAT For a boat to be approved to compete, it shall conform to the rules in this section.
  • B.1 Measurement certificate

  • B.4 Comparative test measurement
  • B.4.1 In case there is measurement dispute at a competition, the following procedure may be used if these class rules specify otherwise for the part to be inspected: (a) an amount of at least 5 pieces. boats, where the issue has not been repaired, shall be selected by lot to be used as reference boats (b) the object to be measured with the same methods to reference the boats and the disputed boat. (C) The dimensions of the object in the disputed boat shall be the same as, or within the maximum and minimum values ??of those measured on the reference boats. Nordic IFRA Class Rules 2012 for IF-boat 7 (25) (d) If any dimension of the object in the disputed boat is outside the measured reference on the boats, the matter shall, together with relevant information submitted to the NKF, who will decide the case. (E) NA should be informed about the case and its decision as soon as practicable after the regatta. (F) The NKF will inform IFRA on the case and its ruling. PART II - Rules and restrictions crew and the boat shall comply with the rules in Part II when racing. Measurement prescribed in Part II is part of the certification and must be performed by a measurer or manufacturer with certification license.
    SECTION C - TERMS FOR RACING In this section are: 1. Rules for which compliance is verified only in the context of a race second Rules for the boat not involved in the certification third Rules for the boat, where certification inspection or inspection require simultaneous access to multiple parts of the boat
  • C.1 Type of racing
  • C.1.1 DEFINITION The term bankappsegling meant in these class rules a race: (a) where only IF boats competing against each other and (b ) where the term "path" is defined in the NA rules, or equivalent, or (c) where the NKF or its local organization has defined race as bankappsegling
  • C.2 Crew
  • C.2.1 LIMITATIONS (a) bankappsegling crew will consist of 2 or 3 people. (B) When racing, which is not bankappsegling is crew numbers freely. (C) during a regatta, which takes no more than 7 days, the crew will be the same in number and individuals, unless the sailing committee has given its approval.

(Iv) Two lines with a minimum diameter of 10 mm. Each line must be at least 10 m long. (V) cushions fitted to all berths. The pads should be real cushions. Pads thickness should be 70 mm (we) Cover of marine plywood, homogeneous wood, plexiglass or GRP to cover the loss of the rough. Door may have ventilation grills of any material. Door may be shared. (Vii) Kitchen. Kitchen should be devoted for use aboard the boat. The kitchen's weight should be at least 2 kg.   • C.9.1 LIMITATIONS OF BANKAPPSEGLING (a) Not more than one mainsail, two headsails and two spinnakers to be used at a regatta, except when a sail has been lost or damaged so much that it can not be repaired. Replacement of such shall be made only with the race committee approval. (B) Not more than one mainsail, two headsails and two spinnakers will be on board. (C) Spinnakrarna should be clearly distinguishable in color or pattern. (D) Only one spinnaker may be used for each sailing. C.9.2 MAINTENANCE: (a) Maintenance and repair is allowed and does not require the measurement and certification.
  • C.9.3 MAINSAIL (a) identification, (i) Sail numbers and national letters shall comply with RRS. (Ii) Sail numbers may differ from that which is fixedly attached to the mast bulkhead, if not the same combination of nationality and sail number occurring in any other boat in the race or regatta.
