description Stay at this delightful B&B, one of the oldest Thatched character Devon longhouses in Croyde
about Croyde is a picturesque village with plenty of eating places including three pubs. We are 5 minutes walk from Croyde village and less than a mile from the sandy beach, rock pools and surfing. There are many footpaths from the cottage to explore, and Exmoor is within easy reach.

Christine and Frank Adey welcome you to Vale Cottage which is a excellent example of a thatched Devon longhouse and one of the oldest cottages in the village. You will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this character bed and breakfast B&B.

All rooms are en-suite each with colour tv, tea and coffee. Each room has individual features and the large room has walk round bath and brass bed.

The standards are of the highest with your own staircase to both rooms and a gallery landing of Christine's landscape photographs.

Each en-suite room has remote control colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities.B&B Room 1 is very spacious and features include original floorboards, brass bed and a walk round bath and exposed stud wall.B&B Room 2 is smaller but very cosy with a new en-suite shower room. The breakfast is highly praised, the fried bread a treat! We also do vegetarian breakfasts.
